Checked Baggage

Checked LuggageFrom  April 01, 2011  new baggage rules are in effect based on the pieces system. These new rules are applicable only if you travel with a ticket issued on or after April 1st, 2011.
On the E-ticket  the number of allowed pieces of baggage is mentioned in the box “Baggage” or “PC”.

Below is an overview of the allowed baggage free of charge on Regional flights, flights to and from the United States and the Mid-Atlantic flights.

* On flights to and from the United States of America (U.S.A.) passengers  travelling in the Economy and Business class are allowed 2 pieces of checked baggage, each with a maximum weight of 23 kg (50 lbs), whereby the total dimensions (length + width + height) cannot exceed 158 cm (62 inch).
In addition 1 (one) GOLF BAG  with a maximum weight of 23 kg (50 lbs) is allowed.

^ Effective ticketing on /after December 12, 2012 for travel only between Paramaribo and Curacao, in the Economy class is permitted 1 (one) piece of checked baggage with a max. weight of 30 kg (66 lbs) and max. dimensions ( h+w+l)  158 cm (62 inch).

 

** In the GOLF BAG (with a maximum weight of 23 kg) exclusively golfing equipment can be carried.
